BIOGRAPHY

Jeimy Suray Castellanos Reina is a Colombian artist who resides in the United States. She is currently working on her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at Columbus State University. Jeimy’s art explores the real and surreal realms through illustrations, sculptures, photographs, and graphic art with the main goal of awakening critical thinking in people.

Jeimy aspires to become a recognized artist who works with various people and with companies that make it their mission to improve people’s health, animals’ lives, and the environment. Her inspiration comes from family, life experiences, Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton, and the Brothers Grimm. Jeimy wants her art to show people another perspective of real life that focuses on raising critical thinking.
